When I came across this tree, it was near the end of a rolling hike, about 3/4 of a mile up, and I was tired. I mentioned to my wife, “Look, that tree is tired, too.”
While I understand the tree just grew that way, to me, at the time, it just looked the tree needed a rest, much like I did.
